Yes! We do both!
Children can touch the back of majority of our animals. There are a few that are off limits for health and safety reasons.
Gratuity is not included in the price of the show.
Our wildlife educators maintain control of the animals 100% of the time. We make sure our animals are well fed and happy, drastically reducing the chance of an incident. However, animals are animals, so we always use extreme caution.
Yes! Our program can take place inside. We only need a space the size of a love seat or small couch for our educator and the animals, plus whatever space you would need for your guests.
We do not schedule rain dates in advance. If your program must cancel due to bad weather, we will do our absolute best to accommodate your new date.
Programs that would take place outdoors only with no option to move inside would need to put down a non-refundable deposit of $100 via credit card. This deposit does not roll over to a newly scheduled date. Payment of the remainder is made via cash or check the day of the program.
Our program is an hour long.
Programs cancelled more than 7 days in advance have no payment beyond the deposit put down to hold the time slot. If your program cancels within 7 days, 50% of the total cost of the program is due. If your program cancels within 48 hours of show time, 100% of the cost is due. This is because filling your timeslot with another program becomes more difficult the closer we get to show time. Any program, that reschedules for another date and runs on that new date, will not incur any penalty beyond the deposit.
We do recommend having fewer than 75 children per program so they can have the best interaction with each of the animals. We can do programming with more children to accommodate your budget, but please keep in mind that the more children at a program the less animals they may be able to touch as it is that single animal to x number of children.
Insect, frog, turtle, lizard, small mammal, baby alligator, and the large Burmese python
From May 1st through October 31st, our programming can be outdoors if the temperature is between 70° and 90° with no rain. If these parameters are not met, our program will have to take place indoors for the safety and wellbeing of our animals or rescheduled for another date.
Our wildlife programs have no age requirement. We love to say our show is for ages 1 – 100.
